Well, we have talked about it for a while now. It's finaly time to reveal a little bit of the almost-secret going-ons in our forthcoming 1/35 AFV range. This page will keep you updated with our progress on the first few items of this quite exciting new range.
Why 'exciting'? Well, for a start, it's an almost 'unknown country' we ventured into. The making of a 1/35 master has little in common with that of a 1/72 one. It's a major investment, if only time-wise, for a small and young company such as RetrokiT...
But 'exciting' mostly because this range will solely focus on the Belgian army and its equipment. 'Exciting' because the Belgian army used (and still does!) some rare, weird and sometimes very advanced and successful designs, be them tanks, armoured cars, motorbikes, tractors, trucks, artillery pieces,...
'Exciting' because most of this weird and wonderful equipment has never been available in any scale, let alone 1/35, 'queen' of the military modelling genre.
So... Coming soon...
Auto porte C.47 sur T.13 (Type I / Type II)
Those two pictures show the hull of the T13 Type I (or Type II) and some of its main interior features, such as radiator, engine, turret well and transmission, all very visible in this mostly open-topped 1935 design. Much work remain to be done on the suspension and the turret itself, particularly its famed 47mm Mle 1932 anti-tank gun, much feared by the German tank crew in May 1940...
Belgian Cycliste Frontiere
