Bonsoir Laetitia,
Il s'agit peut-être de la 3rd U.S. Infantry Division (Rock of the Marne), mais dans quel unité??
Ce n'était pas le général Alexander Patch qui commandait la 3rd U.S. Infantry Division, lui il commandait la 7th U.S. Army
Les commandant successifs de la 3rd U.S. I.D. furent à partir de 1939:
Major-Gen Walter C. Sweeney 1939 – 1940
Major-Gen Charles F. Thompson 1940 - Jul 1941
Brigadier-Gen Charles P. Hale Aug 1941 – Sep 1941
Major-Gen John P. Lucas Sep 1941 - Mar 1942
Major-Gen John W. Anderson Mar 1942 – Feb 1943
Brigadier-Gen William A. Campbell Feb 1942 – Mar 1943
Major-Gen Lucian K. Truscott, Jr. Mar 1943 - Feb 1944
Major-Gen John W. O'Daniel Feb 1944 – Dec 1944
Brigadier-Gen Robert N. Young (Acting) Dec 1944 – Jan 1945
Major-Gen John W. O'Daniel Jan 1945 – Jul 1945
Pour les unités il y avait:

Unités attachées

Au vu des unités, tu comprendras que ta recherche ne sera pas facile!!!!
Bien amicalement et bonne fin de soirée
Prosper
